Padre’s Renfroe Named Hitting Prospect of the Year

Named one of San Diego, California’s top attorneys in 2013 by San Diego Magazine, Terry Chucas is a veteran private practitioner who represents children and parents in dependency cases. Experienced in representing the interests of children in high-profile divorce cases, Terry Chucas is an avid sportsman and a big fan of the San Diego Padres.

Hunter Renfroe, the Padres’ 24-year-old outfielder and third-ranked prospect, just added another prestigious feather to his cap. After being acknowledged as the Pacific Coast League’s (PCL’s) Most Valuable Player and then later being named National League Player of the Week, Renfroe was named the Padre’s hitting prospect of the year by MLB.com.

Renfroe cruised through the PCL slashing .306/.336/.557 with an impressive 30 homers, helping his Triple-A El Paso team win its first championship. He played 133 games with the Chihuahuas, finishing on top of the PCL leaderboard for extra-base hits and homers and second in slugging and RBIs.

The player made his debut in the majors on Sept. 21 with an impressive performance in the season’s final week hitting .409/.409./909 with three homers in just six games.
